We’re two twin brothers and a childhood friend — friends since nursery, building a bond that’s lasted nearly three decades. Life took each of us down different career paths, but one thing always brought us back together: food, friendship, and a love for good bagels.

Living in the heart of East London’s famous Roman Road, we often felt something was missing. Sure, there were plenty of classic fry-up cafés, chicken shops, and pizza joints — but when we craved a proper New York-style bagel, we had to trek all the way to central London. That’s when we realised: there was a gap in the market right here in our own neighbourhood.

Ello Bagel was born out of that craving. We’ve made it our mission to bring authentic, boiled-and-baked New York bagels to the East End, packed with delicious fillings and griddled fresh to order. Each bagel is made with love, passion, and a dedication to quality.

To top it off, we serve speciality coffee and crowd favourites like our flavoured matcha drinks — think blueberry matcha, white chocolate matcha, and more.

We’re here to shake up the local food scene and bring a fresh, exciting option to Roman Road — one bagel (and one sip) at a time.
